Well, it's been three weeks but we do have a new baby!!!!

Sorry I've been delayed in getting on. C-section took a little out of me. We are struggling with breastfeeding and it has been a rough road.
We went in early Thursday morning and then waited. And waited. They hooked me up to a monitor and I was having contractions especially when he moved. He was even moving right up to being wheeled in for surgery!

I finally got back to surgery around 9:30. It was fast. So much was going on. I ended up getting a little sick and I've had tummy issues since surgery. I guess it was the tugging and pulling on me...shoving my stomach into my lungs! My doc is great and had him out in less than six minutes! She had to wrestle him out of the womb. He pinked up right away and daddy walked him down to the nursery. There we found out that our little Marshall weighed in at a whopping 9lbs 2oz and was 20" long! Shew. He's a big boy.

We stayed in the hospital for three nights. On Saturday he was showing signs of jaundice so he went under the lights all day. I only got him when it was time to feed.

I've had issues with breast feeding. I've had issues with swelling. I've had issues with my digestive track. Luckily my incision is healing nicely and my stomach is going down but I'm having internal issues.

Anyway, I'll post a little more but basically we are six days post surgery. Marshall has dropped to 8lb 3oz and we are having to strictly feed every two hours daily and three hours nightly and supplement formula. I've had a long road with breastfeeding and it was a blow today when I was told this. Not to mention the fact that the nurse was less than nice to me today. I'm sure my hormones have a lot to do with it but even hubby said she was quite harsh to me today. It was all I could do to keep from bawling right there in the office.
