Welp...lots has happened since my last update but for now I'm concentrating on hunkering down for Ike. Today has been exhausting. I'm so glad that work was canceled today. I had to put my beloved Aussie down today (which I will blog about later), and had to prepare for this storm. I have no idea how bad it's gonna get here. It is currently 10:30 pm and we are starting to get sustained winds from 18-25mph with gusts up to 35mph. If this storm had a female name, it'd be a bitch. For sure.
We've moved tons of stuff and are hoping that all survives and that we aren't flooded out. I took pictures today of the house and managed to catch these two at sunset.
